Another one bites the dust - ( That's 2 ) 2 Years ago
I don't know, but if I were a celebrity I'd be worried.

Two celebs are now dead.

First Bernie Mac and now Issac Hayes.

Issac was famous for a number of things but most recently as the voice of "Chef" on South Park ( Hmm, that's two down from South Park as well )

Hayes was also responsible for the theme of "Shaft".

I didn't see anything in the article about how or why he died.

Well, Isaac was the normal age for his peeps but Bernie died a good bit short. When you think about all the break throughs in health and science it's hard to believe people can die in their 50's without provocation. Black males have it the roughest for life-expectancy but even 50's is too low. I don't personally know anyone that has died at their life expectancy. Everyone beat it by 10+ years. I guess it's like that cancer commercial says, there's no expiration date stamped on the bottom of your foot!

You got that right. There is no stamp there. I keep checking just to be safe.
I wonder if a Sharpie might help?

They are already starting to put chips in people, to keep an eye on us. I wonder if they will have a date on it when it's our time to expire? Big Brother is watching! Be careful. Pretty soon they will decide when it's our time to die...

I think stem cell would come through for life-longevity before "chips" and otherwise non-bio devices.

As far as the chips go, I'm for them assuming it's as small and non-impactful as possible. I would love to have a chip in my kid(s) (deep, not some finger crap) that could GPS there butts whereever they go. Same goes for my family. Further, if it could be restricted like a SS# or at least restricted in access, I'd be for it. It would not be something I'd want in the hands of an insignificant entity like an employer or general government. These devices could be used to further understand people as well. For example, we might be able to determine the majority of 30yo males in SF frequent Pier 39's market areas on Wednesdays. Cool for businesses at least.

I was being a wise guy there with Big Brother and all that, like in the book. But yes, they do have it out already, and they are putting them in. And yes, they use your social security number. It has nothing to do with health, like i said, I was just being a smart butt. I think from what I heard, that they are doing it to keep an eye on certain people. Probably all of us in the future. You won't find one in me, although that is a very good idea about children. Especially if they are kidnapped or worse. And YES, stem cell!! I am all for it. I would love to get a stem cell, not from embryos though, for my MS. My sister has lupus too, and not doing very well, so I know she would be all for it. I have heard nothing but good things about it. Has anybody heard, while we are on the subject, that they are really close to a cure for MS? I have read nothing about it, but my mum said she heard it on Florida news.
