
Stan Winston helped bring the dinosaurs from "Jurassic Park," the extraterrestrials from "Aliens," the robots from "Terminator," "Edward Scissorhands," "Iron Man" and lots of other creatures and characters to the big screen. Winston died June 15th. He was 62 and had been battling a form of cancer called multiple myeloma for seven years. Winston won Oscars for visual effects for "Aliens," "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" and the first "Jurassic Park." He also won an Oscar for make-up for "Batman Returns." He worked on all three "Terminator" movies. "Terminator" star and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says the entertainment industry has lost a genius with the death of Stan Winston, and he lost one of his best friends.
