A coverage report  is a formal, unbiased review of literary material. In its truest form, it is a tool for executives, agents, managers, and producers. Many of today's companies utilize internal coverage reports as a method of filtering the large number of submissions and locating a writer with talent.  

Nightshade Studio's Coverage coverage reports focus on flaws in a number of areas, such as general presentation, spelling, grammar, story structure, character development and finally on the general concept of the materail.  

The odds are, you won't.   A coverage report, while not meant personally, will always be taken personally.  You've put many hours of work in to the script and to hear anything other than, "Great Job" will always be hard to hear. Often there will be discrepancies between what you are trying to convey and what the reader picks up on during their read and reports in the coverage. This is actually the benefit of the coverage process - it gives you a sense of what the typical reader catches on to while reading your screenplay.

This is where you will want to make corrections. If your story isn't coming across the way you want, you need to fix it.

Simply put, this is the resubmittal of an already reviewed screenplay.  Resubmittals are free with your initial purchase.   You can resubmit without having to pay again for coverage service.  During your initial coverage report, you will be givin a method to resubmit your material for a "Second Look."   You are entitled to one resubmit per script after that, further submissions are pro-rated.
