“Always” is a short film about Eddie and Lois, a couple navigating the slow devastation of dementia. Set in the mid-century modern home they built together, the film watches Eddie move through the sometimes devastating rhythms of caregiving — tending to someone who is slowly forgetting he's there.
Through his faithfulness, “Always” holds up a mirror to the character of God: steady, present, not contingent on whether we remember him.
